A long time ago, before personal computers and laser printers, the Mad Fables monthly newsletter was produced sporadically to try and inform the Fable crowd where the band was playing. The very first newsletter was a crude drawing of a calendar and words to two fo the Fables songs. It gradually became more a regular occurrence, it's usual content being a booking month and a brief irreverant note by that Mad Fables wit,Mario Mulligan, or Racky or Jeff. Racky drew the calendar until it was taken over by Gwen Tinsman in 1978. There was an obvious change of style and quality. |

I gave mention to Marge, Mary Claire, Mary Space, Gwen, Debbie and other people who did the tedious work on the mailing list in the liner notes to the live CDs. Once again, it was the people who supported the band which made it so special. |
