Bruce Warren, roommate, was one of the eight people to occupy the Enchanted Castle in 1974, living with the band members in Belleville, NJ. Many times, Bruce helped out in up-lifting activities (i.e. roadie) and inspirational causes ("hey, i'll put in 2 bucks if anyone else wants a six-pack.."). His nickname back then was "the Mexican", given to him by someone who didn't know that Panama was not part of Mexico (!?!). Ah, the memories..
Bruce played guitar at several open jam parties, memorably doing a rendition of Bad Nuff Boogie at Rodney Hartung's Barn. He performed with Marybeth Sobecki, Steve Millington, and the Jan Alvarez Band through the late 70's. More recently, his group, Surf ResQ received a lot of press in the greater NYC area.
